Anyone used a halogen oven in their van?

  1. Thought theirs might be quite useful in a van to have a little oven, do they work. Can you cook everything in them?

  2. My mum used to cook all sorts in hers. You could double it up with an induction hob (the hob doesn't get hot, so good for safety). Could be a big drain on the battery though, so would need hook up.

We got given one and did plan to use it in the van when 'hooked up'. It does seem that you can cook everything in it.

  4. I haven't used one in the van yet cos we've only just had it, lol. Use a large halogen at home and you can do everything it. Did some chops last night and you can put your roasties in too. Made cakes, fried bacon and burgers. Might get a smaller one for the van though. Dorothy
