Tregarron - opposite the Blues bar , next to the surt club Closed shop though i`m afraid , a friend bought the plot and we stay there for a few days every year but they`re putting a house there this summer , looking forwaeds to the house warming
Cheers Zedders () . All i could get up was newer van conversions so thanks for that - i`ve emailed `em , lets see eh
Yes they mention it but no pics even though it seems to be the thing that really got the company going! I bet they simply don't have any pictures, perhaps they had a fire at one time. Nothing at all on google is there?
Nah mate - that`s an hour of my life i won`t get back ... Just curious as i said . You`ve met me , you know i`m not in possesion of the coverted VW anorak of knowledge . I know enough to keep my van going but as for details of different conversions/years/upgrades i`m sat at the back and looking out of the window . (and don`t really care to be honest ) Thanks for the link , i`ve asked a few questions in an email - see what they come back with ... Chapeau @Dicky , a great suggestion - thank you .
Me too and I don't even have one. Seems odd there are quite a few on here, all converted ex European service vehicles and nobody knows what they are. Maybe Klein and Klott or some equivalent had a bunch of roofs made. Leiuredrive say they introduced "full length side hinged and hi-top roofs" for T25's - as if they'd been making something different for T2's - there is hope. lol
Not yet. Maybe if someone sent a pic of their roof and asked them directly if they made it, that would make it less effort for them to answer.
Just to confuse things, there was a bunch a few years back that were doing Westy ish copies / replicas and not converting vans, just `improved` types of roofs like that one, mainly I`m guessing for the home type converters. I`ll see if I can dig up anything. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Maybe
Nothing this end either ... I wanted to send a pic but the Leisuredrive contact form thing is only for text so i explained asked them to contact me with an address to forward a picture - no joy . Hmmm , the plot thickens . Be interesting if you turn anything up as the vans are very `Westyish` but the common theme with owners i`ve spoken to and vans seen seems to be ALL lhd ex commercial imports from Europe leading me to think it was deffo some enterprising bod who thought he`d give it a go . Havn`t seen a rhd drive one yet but .... Thanks for the interest @Ozziedog , happy hunting
