Anyone on here know lots about scooter engines?

    About to put a match to my Piaggio Ape 50 :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Before I do, does anyone know a bit about scooter engines I could have a chat to? I won't go into all the detail of the starting problems in the post yet.....:mad:

    I play with VW engines, classic british, pre-war engines and dirty great american V8s, but this 2 stroke thing :mad:

    Save me!:confused:

    The best bit with small two strokes is to take the plug out and turn it over so it spits out all the petrol in the cylinder..

    Then put it back in and have another go.

    Better still is the petrol shoots out and catches fire too..
