Anyone lost a roof cap?

Spotted on my commute to work, looks like a devon (maybe?) fibreglass roof cap sitting on the central reservation of the A34 just south of the Milton interchange.

Possibly a van being transported caught a gust of wind?

If its still there tomorrow i might see if can go and rescue it

 

It it weighs what a westy one does, take some mates...

Ahhhh... interesting, this is the general vicinity of where my roof went. It happened on 21st, so timing is about right.
The transporter claimed to not even notice!

i know its a been a while n you dont want a hornets nest but maybe a call to the local police or council might know something ?? if rob doesnt have it ?
