Sister in Illawarra has got a pot hole. Car Jack then blew sideways in the wind and dropped the car on the deck, without the tyre on. We are here with a trolley Jack and scissors Jack.

There are V pressings in the cills pointing down to the jacking point/area

Thanks @Meltman snd @davidoft 3 jacks eventually lifted it. It’s like my Fiat. Too low for a trolley Jack until it’s lifted a bit. Xx

  6. Beware, though. The arrows point to the small reinforced bits under the car, behind the sill. Try jacking on the sill, and it'll likely fold up. Modern cars turn into bananas if you jack them in the wrong place.

They’ve put a claim in to the council , both front and rear tyre knackered. I’ve been past offending pot hole and it’s not very wide but it is deep.

we walked past it today and heard a nasty clunk as a 4x4 hit it. I thought I definitely wouldn’t want to hit it on 2 wheels.
