I've not got one, but I did consider one once. Good points - quick to set up camp. Bad points - heavy.
Yes we have a sun canopy. We gave up on the full on drive away awning as it took up to much room in the van and we took more stuff than needed.

is this impossible to do with a devon pop top? ive seen one on a canvas open roof but never with a pop top! :'( is it still possible?
