Any lion tamers on here?

Considered giving it a go, but does seem rather dangerous.

 

I applied for a lion tamer job once but left quickly as I got a raw deal.

Knew someone who was a Lionel Tamer. Had to keep Lionel Blair under control backstage at the London Palladium. Not as easy as it sounds from what he told me.

I've had my fair share of working with animals but not Lions i'm afraid, during my illustrious career with animals i've had the following positions.

1989-1991 apprentice Dolphin shaver
1991-1992 Dog handstand instructor
1991-1993 Prosthetic limb engineer (primarily creating prosthetic beaks for Toucans harmed during the gulf war conflict)
1993-1997 Chief swimming instructor for left handed, bi-polar, autistic penguins.

 

I can tame teenagers at school. Any good?

How much did you get in government grants for that lot

 

I used to circumcise elephants at the zoo. Money wasn’t great, but you got quite big tips.

Yep - did that for 37 years - it was like taming lions at times (or even like herding cats!!)

I remember going to the circus in Blackpool Tower as a small child.....I'm sure they had lion tamers who went into the cage with just a chair and a whip!
