  1. Hi,
Every year myself and my 2 sisters get together and try and do something exciting (speed boat rides etc..)
last year we bought 3 Virgin balloon rides. We booked four rides all cancelled due to weather conditions (for an AM ride you only know 11pm the preceding day for a 630 start), I bought a 7 day extension and this year we'vr had three flights cncelled so far and this Saturday isnt looking good.
My sisters are getting really hacked of with it, we have to book local B&B's for the early start only to be cancelled last minute.

I asked about a refund and they quote T&Cs at me. Can Virgin simply go on refusing refunds based on their T&Cs or is it reasonable to say after say 7 bad wether cancellations over two years that enough is enough?
Anybody know if a company can really simply lock out refinds using their T&Cs?

    Cheers

  2. Would need to see their T&C's. Have you got a link?

  5. My wife bought a balloon ride package from another company .... their T&C tend to be pretty watertight and whilst having studied contract law to law degree standard I will have a pop at most things there seemed little chance of success with these people. We gave up and never got our balloon ride ... appears to be a bit of sharp practice and you either strike lucky and get your balloon ride or lose out.
