I'm wondering if the American public can tell the difference between a real life election and a Netflix drama series. Or if they even care.......
Papers refusing to carry editorials for the opposition just in case. He's got people in the swing states ready to declare the results unconstitutional if he looses which is why he's said throughout that it doesn't matter what the results are. Nazi Germany indeed. Glad I'm not living there.
I think Trump will get in. But it’s all good. He will make America great again, and end the war in Ukraine “just like that” easy peasy. We should all be grateful that such an unassuming individual is willing to give his all for our benefit. Oh, and his first job will be to make himself unable to be charged with any criminal offence. Does anyone remember on the tv program DIY SOS, where each week they featured a specific power tool, and did a little comedic presentation. At the end of the presentation they signed off with “What a tool”. I think that fits Trump perfectly.
I believe we are too Europeans to understand foreign politics. Unless half of Americans citizens are half brained rednecks, why so much people would elect a tyran? Italia got Melony and the country doesn't look to be on civil war. When she was elected, europe was in choke to see Italia going far right, again. France got Macron, who is more pro european than any other, is quite progressist, but France is not really healthy right now, and on the verge of far right, too. Look also at Belgium, we have been lead by leftists for decades and are not economically in good shape, especially our french side. And our publics services aren't really what we paid for. To me, Harrys looks like they will be lead more like an euro way and trump more like a yankee. If I was american, I would have a hard time to decide.
