  1. I’m considering doing it my self, I can buy a TMI kit for a sunroof bay. That’s another thing, how’s it’s done I can’t open the sunroof!!!

  2. Why can’t you open the sunroof?

  3. The black trim around the opening is wedged in too tight, without it the edge of the lining is not stuck

  4. Have you done the other Door card Yet?

  6. Thanks, the whole bus is looking good apart from the ... you know what

  7. Not normally something i touch but her indoors snapped the handle. Bosch sent a new one so I needn't have bothered

Its probably because the fabric that you have used as headlining is too bulky. And the sunroof is probably designed to work as a painted panel in a painted aperture.. the black trim strip is another bulky thing it didnt have originally...Having headlining stuck liberally everywhere is the root cause of many of your issues.

Why not return to the 70's with orange shag carpet. Wont show the dodgy glue ;-)

  11. The fabric is more or less the same as original without the perforations. Originally there was a black trim around the opening, this was much smaller but had shrunk over the years. The problem is how it’s been done. I removed the sunroof and tracks as the headlining should have gone around and under the track in one piece. They chose to do it in 3 sections and only lipped over the edge, then it fell off ...

That is so miserable. the edging strip coming off, letting it all fall down. As so much of that looks like it relies on the edging strip, it could be that finding the correct strip might actually let you get it back up OK.
