I don't know why but whenever somebody mentions a heart op, I remember the Peter Seller and Sophia Loren song 'Goodness Gracious Me' ...hope you don't get too much ".....boom boody-boom boody-boom boody-boom

I saw some of the X-ray bits as they were moving the wires through the arteries and into the heart which was interesting.
I could see some of what they were doing in the reflector of the light above me and it didn’t look very pretty .

I had a colonoscopy a few years ago...
no anaesthetic..

the quack said.. the camera is 200mm in
if you look at the screen you can see inside your bowel..

there was a 43 inch tv in front of me...

I looked and said ... is there any thing else on..

all was well until the twot pulled the camera out....
like he was starting a lawnmower...

 

And tbh ..
my vasectomy story is more painful.

 

I had a chest drain tube they did that with - I sensed trouble when two of them rocked up. Very strange feeling as it come out.

Did they go through your wrist or your femoral artery Para? I had to have some kind of pressurised pad on my brachial artery for what seemed like hours after my angiogram. They’d gradually de-pressurise it so I didn’t bleed to death in the recovery room

 

They sliced above my chest muscle

 

A plumber would've put some self-almalgamating tape around that

 

it’s the ballcock fitting you want to worry about

 

15mm push-fit goes nicely on your aorta. Any haemorrhaging, bit of PTFE tape - sorted
