Well actually half the gear and no idea. I was asked to meet another transporter yesterday in Gosport. He had brought down a old Aston Martin DBS for me to bring back to the Isle of Wight. He turned up in a decent looking lwb sprinter with enclosed trailer. I was quite impressed with his set up. Then.... He set about unloading the car. He didnt have a wireless winch so climbed over the front of the car to get to his winch remote ha ha. Then unloaded the car. Being nice like I am ha ha I got down to unhook his winch cable. The cable went under the bottom wishbone, over the top and hooked onto......yep, the steering arm. Why would you climb over someones old classic car ?? A wireless winch remote and receiver is under £20 and takes at most an hour to fit. Why would you hook your winch onto the steering arm. Confused !!! Said car below
