I really want bf goodrich all terrain tyres on my bus but unless i import from america there not available in 14 inch fitment There are certain 15 inch mercedes steels that will fit the bus then i could source 15 inch bf goodrich all terrains Id rather not go an inch larger though as this will alter the gearing and cooling plus make it worse on the small country tracks and steep inclines where lower gearing is more appropriate Does anyone know of a good all terrain tyre thats not a remould available in standard bus size and specification? Im pretty sure the answer is going to be get your self to the breakers for a set of 15 inch steels but i thought id ask just incase someones found a gem
drop slammedresto (Gary) a message mate, he bought some for his westie recently & I'm sure he used his original steels

Opps sorry woody just re read my reply and it sounded harsh Thanks for taking the time to look and link dude
Para, did you get anywhere looking for AT tyres for the standard rims? I would also like an AT type tyre if possible, but they seem hard to find.
I havent owen apart from importing them from america Its looking like im going to have to go up to 15 inch wheels
Have you looked at winter or all season tyres? Not sure about off road performance but I just want to be able to get across a potentially muddy field and go out in the snow! http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=26597653.110.15198&typ=R-187052&ranzahl=4&Breite=185&Felge=14&weiter=45&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&Transport=T&dsco=110 http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=26597653.110.15198&typ=D38387&ranzahl=4&Breite=185&Felge=14&weiter=15&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&Transport=T&dsco=110 http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=26597653.110.15198&typ=R-147159&ranzahl=4&Breite=185&Felge=14&weiter=30&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&Transport=T&dsco=110
The tires (tyres) that i put on Willow are pretty aggressive & are 14' front are 205X75X14's rear are 27X8.5X14's, the bus raised up less than 1/4 of an inch,
I found this on goggle::might help? http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/t3-wheel-help_forum20.html http://forum.club8090.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=86634
Real off road tires will make a lot of noise on tarmac, and American tires are generally much lower quality (strange, as most things are better made there) I do a lot of mixed terrain driving which includes quite a bit of offroad, or as much as these buses can take, and maybe a little more. I use Verdestein snowtrac winter tires all year round. never failed me... water, mud, sand, gravel, i always pull out where others don't.
