Aldi - Metal paint and air tools cheap

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Andy_, Apr 14, 2013.

  1. Popped into Aldi today and they had a range of metal paints at £5 per litre. Apparently it's better than Hammerite (not that Hammerite is great anyway) but it's certainly good value.

I also picked up this cut off saw for £5 too! It's obviously not snap on quality but great value. They had a lot of other air tools too.

    Thought maybe of interest....

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

The ad sheets don't carry all the specials, try online.

  6. Andy does it say on the paint tin thats its enamel paint? and did they have a silver colour available?

Those air cut off tools are quite good for the price but you need a decent compressor to run them

  7. I've not tried it yet but with the warranty you can't go wrong! It looks the same as the Chinese ones that are going on ebay for £20 :)

  8. Will take a look and get back to you.
They have black, white, silver and dark green if i remember correctly :)

  9. They are handy them cut off tools but like paradox said you do need a decent compressor as they hammer the air but you ll find most air tools you ll use for body work does :(
If your just doing your own resto s in your home garage best off sticking to electric sanders and grinders will be quicker than waiting for your air to build up on compressor :)
