Airbox seals

  1. Anyone know if you can still get the seals for the front airbox, late bay, obviously. Or do you have any tips for a substitute if not.

    Cheers all

Draft excluder foam strip has been suggested a couple of times.

  3. Most people seem to use sticky back foam draught excluder

No chance, unfortunately. I used stick foam latex stuff.

  7. Ive an original pair of fresh air vent seals i was kindly gifted by zed
Ill try and dig them out later and take a pic then people have a refference of what they actually look like

Id never seen a bus with them fitted before most had the seals missing or draught excluder of sorts fitted

  8. That would be brilliant. thanks. In this cold weather its not soo nice having a constant draft of cold air as well as the heating.

  9. Pull your fresh air vents out of the dash and shove a thick pair of socks in each hole as a temp measure

If you can find someone with a scrapper, they come off really easily and far better than draught excluder.

  12. Just taken the cover off. The seals are there and are intact. The flaps just dont close properly. Are they adjustable? The leaver on the dash is right at the top.
