air cooled camping

my son has a lovly t2 westy ,but he has just bought this


and i think ive lost the plot

 

i'm confused

 

Not sure them gutters are ment for camping carry on.

 

I like it, but I do think it looks like something they would come up with on top gear

(but then again i do have a popuptenttop bus)

best roof top tent ever. would not fancy climbing into it after a few shadies thouh.. love the motor too

 

the back part of the tent has a ladder to the top bit ,the wooden bit on the bumper is to stand on to get to the ladder . they were made in the states in the 60s

The max quoted roof weight of 50KG on a Beetle is based on driving it and the weight restriction is to ensure it doesent fall over going round a bend. Stationary it will easily take the weight of two adults and more without damage.
