  2. I’ve seen they do resin driveways nowadays
Would that be suitable for this application?

These days most concrete deliverys come with 2 men to help out, shocked last time I ordered some for the downstairs bathroom floor.

Yes was ready for a hard afternoon and ended up just throwing it around and levelling up. Cuts out on waste cos they only give you the amount required

they didn't ...i would like to know which slabs have mesh in .
I have been cutting slabs for over 40 years and never come across mesh in them apart from concrete water and gas covers and concrete posts .

Essential craftsman on YouTube has some great videos on YouTube about poring concrete.
It's a huge deal in the states.

Damp the base down before the poor aa others have typed.
If you can get some fiberglass flecs online they can be mixed in I used 15mm x3 strands I think b@q might sell it actually.
    It's fun

It’s not a driveway, unless @Louey has downgraded to an electric scooter :)

Probably cost far too much. The concrete wasn't that cheap, but cheaper and easier paying for a ready-mix delivery than buying all the separate parts.

I'm not counting on any help from the driver, if I'm lucky they will bring a wheelbarrow, but I've borrowed three :D

Not that shallow, it ain’t. Not with a thin layer on it.
All needs to come out, or Brunel will be spinning.Deeper, all in one slab, I meant.
    With reinforcement.
