Hi, Ordered my replacement accelerator cable etc.It seems where the conduit goes/bends over the gear box area is the problem.I cannot see properly but the old cable gets stuck there.Corrosion probably.Anybody have any ideas for unblocking or I may just bypass this part with a piece of plastic conduit. Thanks.
Hello Skirk I had much the same problem, the tube that went through the fan housing had misalined itself from the conduit over the gearbox, so could not get the cable through. so maybe you could check for that.
^this is likely the problem: the fanhousing tube isn't located in the bell-end (sorry) of the flexi conduit.
