Abbreviations?My first ever thread

IIRC = if I remember correctly

IMO = in my opinion

IMHO = in my humble opinion

OP = original post(er)

FTFY = fixed that for you

On another forum I used to frequent where the mods were thread-lock-happy, there also used to be IBTL = in before the lock.

My favourite general one comes from ROFL, I like Bill Bailey's version: ROFLYSST = rolling on the floor lauging yet somehow still typing

I go to meetings with the NHS once a month and I don't understand WTF they are going on about half the time. This place is easy compared to that

 

I think each job has it's own incomprehensible acronyms, try education - "to do the IEP we have to have a CAF in place or pre-CAF, then we can have a TAC" I actually wrote that in an email today :
