    Certainly bought the storey ‘up to date’ a bit with modern society, but with an old school Victorian twist!
    What did you think?

    Just watching it....only on episode one, but looking good.
    But al the miserable old bu@@rs on here will no doubt prefer the original from the 30's or whenever! ( tongue firmly in cheek! )

  3. It was dark but not bad. I still prefer the Muppet version - the acute social realism of Fozziwig's rubber chicken factory carries a potent message.

    I like all of the above.

    Saw it at the Alexander theatre in Brum once with Stratford johns as Christmas present. Absolutely brilliant.
