A bit flappy

Just started up my new 1641 engine with a scat main pulley and a new alternator pulley.
The alt pulley has no spacers in it and the belt seems quite loose when running. I've got the standard belt, even bought a couple more from different places to make sure I wasn't being special. Is there a slightly smaller belt available?

 

Is your Scat pulley the same size as a stock one? You may have cooling problems if it isn't.

 

All size belts are available from your local motor factor. Either a slightly wider or shorter one.

 

This I had one and it was smaller diameter than a vw one
Don't get a new one as they are made of thin metal try and get a 2 hand one
