Hi guys Andy here but I am know by most as Weser! Just joined up on here. Heard it was a good forum. The Mrs and I have had our camper for just over 3 years now. He's called Ernie, a US import nice and solid and we are the first owners in the UK. He's a 1971 westy pop top. So ok not technically a Late Bay, its a cross over model, so not technically a prototype bay either. I like to think its got the best of both worlds, well except the double bed in the roof. Anyway hope you don't hold it against me too much. We have not really got in to the VW scene but are hoping to now a few people we know have also got campers. Need to start hitting some of these shows. Ernie has seen a fair few miles camping since we have had him, all round Scotland and of course Cornwall. Anyway enough from me here are a few pics I have on my work pc.

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome. I am based in north Essex near Halstead. A lot of it is origninal but I have done some work to it, painted the bumpers and fibre glass roof and painted the front pannel and metal roof. Its had lots of bits and pieces as im sure you all can appreciate. Tried to keep as much of the origninal paint as I could, not sure why really but it still polishes up lovely.
