This is our other fun car which we found a few months ago in a poly tunnel and had hardly been used in this country for over ten years. Has now been brought back to life and has just passed its MOT. Spent months looking for a good one and can say this was the best we could find and just like our California camper its rust free. All the USA emission carp has been removed and brought back to English spec but have kept some of the USA extras, like 3 windscreen wipers, side indicator repeaters, sun visors, cloth seats, etc and the dash board has some other items. Was converted from left to right on import and looks a easy job to do. Doors have impact bars and extra welds around the wheel arches etc. Now its get out with the top down and enjoy the sun when it comes out and convince the DVLC its historic!
Welcome to the "Bay and MG club" which includes myself and @mgbman - hope you have lots of fun with it - it goes round corners a bit better than the van!
I don't have an MG but used to do running restorations on midgets and mgbs (and one sprite) in my 20s, using them for weekday travelling then restoring during weekends and selling on for a profit, from which I would buy another. Don't have any piccies though - my ex-wife burnt them all, that's for another day! Can I join retrospectively? Nice Midget Izzy by the way!
