Just got to put some white paint on the bumpers in the morning and get the lad to help me put the screen back in and it's pretty much done
All it needs now are some black 16" merc steelies or black alloys " mmmmmmmmmm" nice transformation Duncan
Just noticed in the pics your's has the long rubber bump stops on the dropgates, any idea where they can be purchased from as I need some and have had no luck from the usual suspects ?
Hi there, thanks for reply. I used to have a split , but any stops were never as big as dropgate ones (as I recall ) but i'll look around at splitty suppliers to make sure Need to be 40mm.
Hmm , I got 2 New ones from schofields but they are shorter, ok for sides but the rear needs long ones to clear the engine lid
Cheers, yes I seem to have done but couldn't pinpoint how I need to take it for a longer run before I get too cocky!
Hope its sorted! From our issues with Majors FI, we find the bloody little vac hoses give us more problems than anything. Last time we moved it up to my Dads it had a misfire at 3000 rpm and above
The I've had loads of minor rough running issues with hoses on the pickup but not like the Landy, it just kept cutting out completely, at the mo I think it was just a loose connection on the elec ign module ! Been using it daily and its not stopped for ages now, runs sweet.
Can't wait to see your handywork at Tatton next week , looks really nice and peacefull at your workshop.
Finally located and purchased 40mm rubber stops for dropgates from VW heritage although they were £4 ea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
