We picked up our bus last weekend and I thought I would post a couple of pics. There are a few things that need doing like replacing the window scrapers on both sides and no doubt I will find more to do. It was difficult getting our daughter out of it this evening as she wanted to sleep in it on the drive. Hope to start meeting you all at the festivals soon.
Nice bus, your first job is to replace all the fuel hose & breather pipes, get good quality stuff from Halfords (they sell good year hose) of from Volksbolts on eBay. Welcome to the forum.
Thanks again for all the welcomes. The engine was rebuilt about 4000 miles ago and I am hoping all the pipes were replaced then. I did fill it up with fuel to see if I could smell petrol inside and I couldn't. I don't know if there is a way to tell if they have been replaced? We will be going to Whitenoise as it is only around the corner from us. Hope to start meeting people from the forum there.
A couple of things I have noticed on the engine, in the pic, there is a wire coming down from a junction box (top right of the pic) which goes to nowhere. I the middle of the pic at the top, there is a metal oval box that does not seem to be connected to anything!
