Can anyone recommend the best size tyre to fit onto ssp alloys (empi style) for a 73 bay at standard ride height !
if you had 185/14 as standard the size i quote are as near as dammit the same rolling radius, big rich knows his stuff but i'm pretty sure i'm right on this.
we're rolling Gasburners on Yokahama 195/65/15 XL+ reinforced tyres all round & I must say the tyres are excellent and have transformed the ride by a vast amount compared to what it used to be. I'd highly recommend them and the insurance company's engineer has approved them
195/65x15 is 2½ % smaller than a standard 185x14, so when your speedo says 70mph you’re actually doing about 68mph. Those Yokahama probably have a load index of 95 (690kgs) so good enough.
