Swimming, now your talking. Perfect for you. I get a bit worried about the cycling out on the roads. Not safe at all. Driving back from the bowls today, cyclists out early evening, some not easy to see, some riding side by side and chatting together, not good. I gave it up mostly because of the cars. And the roads are full of holes. Never seen the roads so bad. I agree you will get fed up with too much running. Swimming is very good exercise and sociable. I am insulin diabetic for 20 years and have to eat properly and exercise a lot.
Cycling helps with running but not vice versa Swimming so good too, sounds like you need to sign up for a triathlon
A mix of exercise is good. I would do the jogging/running and walking and swimming. As you can tell, the cycling worries me as it is dangerous out there and not relaxing as you have to keep your wits about you all the time and beware of the traffic which won't be sympathetic and will cut you up. On the road you must be very visible with flashing lights and large yellow hi vis jacket plus a quality helmet. Cyclists are often difficult to see, but they don't realise that. Cycle off road or a cycle path or trail or go to Holland for a safe cycling holiday. I went with my son when he was a teenager, it was great with cycle paths and trails for cyclists all over the country.
Some, I had dogs on leads so it's fast bursts. Then I need to walk. Sent from my RAINBOW JAM using Tapatalk
This is a good idea. My mates cycle 40 miles a day....very fast, I am shattered trying to keep up. 30 mins boxing and cardio, I can do well but they can't keep up. Variety will give a good all round fitness and not one particular area as described. Swimming is great all round, probably the best for fitness and joints, you just have to avoid certain times when they pen the lanes in!
Morning workout. Started off fast but then got slower And slower I must begetting old. Sent from my RAINBOW JAM using Tapatalk
I've bought a cycling helmet and ordered some pedals My groins still sore so I've done no running. I really missed going out for a run last night I got a bit grumpy which surprised me☹️ I've been out for walks of 5k to keep things going but that's hurting my groin a bit still.
