i work down south bunch of miserable sods no cups of tea or the time of day for a chat go up north you carnt shut them up while they feed you with cakes and buiscuit even get the odd meal i love it up north
Cakes Biscuits?! Odd meal? Migod they live well up there, money flowing etc.etc. unlike us poor sods.

I was on a building site a few years ago and the home owner brought us tea and biscuits out. One of my mates spat his out shouted, 'you want to wash the washing up liquid out of your cups love' It was Earl Grey. It was also the last brew she made us
my lady has earl grey and green tea sometimes i get the wrong cup its not good as i allways let it cool a bit then have a good gulp
On the side of southerners...... Whilst working in Spanish ex pat community I had lots of southern customers. I also had many cups of tea, biscuits, beer (at the end of the day) and also occasionally a cooked lunch This may have been purely that they didn't want me to go out to get lunch and never return for a week in a true plumber stylee Tho in sheffield I had a lovely dhal and salad meal from an Asian customer Maybe it's because I'm a lady they think I need feeding!
