..3 way fridge question..

    Evening all
    Im planning to run my old westy fridge on gas..took it out today to give it good clean and figure out what will be needed..anyway..my concerne is this flue liner..dont know but to my inexperienced eye it looks like asbestos?..

    well the fridge being a late 70s model so Im going to get rid of it anyway but have you got any sugestions what to replace it with?..this maybe?

    There’s a lot of insulation materials out there but I dont want to spend fortune on 100 square meters I don’t need..

  2. Rock wool, it will withstand the flue temps no problem and available in most diy shops

    I would look out for pinholes in those crusty pipes after you treat the rust..

    Fibre glass or rock wool will do.
