-3 and me and my daughter are sleeping in the van tonite!

After much moaning and moaning about sleeping in the camper i finally gave in!
Ive plugged it into the house and set up a really good heater.
She is almost 5 and cant wait to sleep in it! But -3 ? We will give it a shot anyway,i guess she has my adventurous genes
The front door is 2m away so if there are any problems we can bail out!

 

You'll be fine - it was colder than that at few camps with no hook up. Take lots of covers too.

 

Double glazing will save you

 

Oh yes my double glazing works well! Awfully proud of my double glazing...........

 

Have a great time, my family are no where near as adventurous.
Oh and wear plenty of warm clothing

if you keep the lid down youll be suprised how warm it is , we keep lid down when its cold , and layers of covers never been cold yet , no heaters nowt, if you warm the air up first , you will get more condensation as it cools in the night too. have fun

No bother at that temp with a heater

It went about - 5 at spring camp this year in a tent with no heater and i was toasty warm whilst in my sleeping bag

 

Told you it was good. You seemed pensive. I gather your pretty please now. Anyway you should be absolutely fine. Chances are heater will end up being Ott if you keeping the roof down. If your going to go that cold with the roof up then get an insulator for the canvas.
