it seems that the previous owner of my sons 70 bus let all the magic smoke out of the 215c flasher unit & i have not been able to find one so i guess i have to make one up with 2 twin prong flasher cans from scratch, has anybody done this before? or know a good swap in? yes i do know that it is bad 'cause it stinks to high heaven & I've opened it & saw it was burnt around 1 of the coils,ya gotta love that smell! thanks for any help--chuck

Well i got it all figured out! If you can find a flasher relay from a German cars- VW's,Porsche's,Audi's with 3 prongs/pins 73 & up till the mid 80's they made million of those cars With the same prong/pin numbers as the 215C relay except for KBL-i'll cover that in a minute. relay numbers. 31 49 49a wire those prongs/pins with jumper wires to the matching number in the fuse box/panel & make a matching jumper wire for the KBL wire in the fuse box/panel, take the KBL wire & ground(earth) it to the body i made a little bracket for the relay to sit on & to keep it out of the way.----chuck [for future people doing a search for the same thing] 70, relay, flasher,215c.215
