1978 front seats

Hi guys,
Just purchased a 1978 T2 so I,m a bit new to all this...
Anyone know if T25 driver and passenger seats will fit a '78 Bay?
Any help most appreciated.

 

I have read that they will,if you look on the samba forum and here there are some write ups.

Yes the early ones will, Ive seen my seats, as they were, fitted in several t25's and mines a 78 too !

 

Yes I've got vanogan seats in mine with arm rests the doors need an extra slam but they are spot on. I've a 78 as well

 

my understanding is the runners are different
ive got t25 seats in mine
had old ford seats and runners
replaced seats (t25 were cheaper than bay) and got t25 runners

....T25 seats may fit into t2 runners though!

 

Early t25 seats will fit late t2 seat runners
