    A good friend of my has decided to sell his 1978 Champagne.

    It is a lovely bus with original paint and interior, the 2.0L engine runs beautifully and had a trip around Europe last year without a hitch.

    Anyway, the details are below, definitely worth a look if you are after a solid, reliable and very practical camper:

  4. Very pretty! Not expensive either for a Champagne in decent original nick.

    I've only ever imported one of those.. they are a rare bird indeed. The one I found had been owned from new by an eccentric fellow from the mountains of Nevada, who claimed to have lived in, and raised two kids in it! That claim was supported by his now grown-up daughter.. There's nowt as queer as folk, but it was a nice bus all the same.

    I might have suggested the time of year was the reason, but it's not as though you could wait til Spring and go find another like this. Unless I'm missing something, it's as much as 5K less than it could have been....

  15. I can't believe this hasn't sold and I can't believe he is dropping the price but it is now £12995. That is for an original paint limited edition Westfalia in amazing condition MOT'd and ready to go!!!!

    The body is in great condition, some pitting in the lacquer. I value buses on the other site and this is a very nice bus. The engine had new pushrods recently and a new alt. Very original.
