Hi. Im trying to keep my van as close to original as possible not replacing any of the furniture as the original is all in good condition. What I am going to do is put the spare wheel on the bonnet and self build a cupboard where the spare wheel is. I dont know if there are any custom interiors that I can buy this one cupboard from in the north east ? However any photo's of cupboards and ideas where anyone who's done the same much appreciated ...... before we build it and think I should have done it like that LOL
The only rear cupboards I'm are of from devon conversions went on the opposite side. I wouldnt advise mounting the wheel on the front either as it could damage the front panel and also takes the impact in a collision away from the deformation bar. The only spare wheels origanlly mounted on the front were the westies that were mounted onto the front bumper which had been widened.
