This is a UK registered RHD 1600 single port engine with a large arch lever folder full of history and receipts (including original VW service book stamped and other genuine VW material which came with the vehicle from new) along with a catalogue of photos on disc taken throughout its renovation. Things you should know The only thing that springs to mind is the raising roof side canvas must have been stowed away wet and has left a mark on the canvas when dried out by the sun. This doesn’t affect the performance and the canvas is still weather-proofed. I’ve kept all of the internal cabinets as original and after 40 years of usage, there’s signs of wear & tear, but this keeps to the character of the bus. There are NO marks on the body-work/paint work and the engine is running the best it ever has. We have just returned from a 10 day holiday to Cornwall and had no issues what so-ever with the camper van. Reluctantly, we are out-growing it space-wise for all of the crap that we have to take with us. I’m going to use the money to buy something bigger. That is the genuine and only reason for selling.
