FOR SALE 1972|RHD Danbury conversion - Hampshire

  1. We have decided to part ways with our camper after 5 years of enjoying him the Hampshire and Dorset countryside.

    When we bought Basil he had recently had a full back to metal respray, a new engine and a new full size rock and roll bed which was ideal being over 6ft2. As well as this it has also had an external oil pump fitted, new pop top skirt as shown in the images.

    We have completed a number of work to the van, mainly cosmetic, this includes;
    2 new wing mirrors, indicator seals front and back and light covers, headlight covers and bulbs, powder coated wheels and new white wall tyres, full set of breaks on all 4 corners, new front axle due to a poor corner in its MOT in 2016. New door seals and refitted doors, full new sliding door mechanism, full service every year completed by SGS vans and MOT before the exemption this year. Just completed a full service and had a new ignition coil fitted, currently undergoing some small rust bubbles paintwork in preparation for the winter season.
    This is a very good quality van and must be seen to appreciate its finish levels. He is over 46 years old but still a head turner, always having people comment on how great he looks.

    The main consideration for work is the front cab seats could do with new covers as they are still the original seats but if we sell I felt it better to allow the new owner to choose the route to go down with this.

    As such we are not asking silly money but what it has been valued at by 2 independent valuations and our insurer. Asking £15,999 OVNO
