1971 original rare RHD genuine Westphalia prototype bay window, in Neptune blue,

totally solid underneath no rust, and just freshly restored

ENGINE COST OVER £5000
built by vw speed shop, 2007cc based on a std 1600, but with over size pistons and a long stroke crank, And loads of other special bits, twin dellorto 45 carburetors, full race spec engine, rev limiter with shift light, full flow oil cooler and filter. SO, loads of power and reliability, will cruse at 80 mph without missing a beat. and still give good mpg.
NEW GEARBOX "freeway flyer" to make the most of all that lovely engine power.

disk brakes on the front, and braided hoses all round, stops and goes very well,
most of the original westfalia campmobile is still intact, pop top with single fold out bunk, including brand new roof canvas tent, rock and roll bed, wardrobe, it is missing original sink unit and rear facing bench, these are home made but with a better smev combined gas hob and sink
bumpers and wheels have been powder coated white, twin battery system, storage cover, spare set of gas burner alloy wheels,
AUDIO, kenwood usb aux headunit, 8x focal speakers sounds amazing!

one owner for the past 23 years, sad to part with it after all these years, and she has taken us on many amazing adventures around Europe, i feel its time to let her go and start a new chapter making new amazing memory's with another family

it was built in southAfrica so mayby thats why it got front disks and a bulkhead.

 

Some of the SO69 Westies had bulkheads. There's about 5 models with various kitchen pod layouts. Very cool..
