Dad bought this in aug 74. I was born on the nov. loads of stories as I grew up with this car. Obviously it a keeper. Still og engine with 268000 on it
Very nice and great to have had it in the family for so long. My bug has had 17 previous owners since first hitting the road in 67.
thats a lovely bug! liking the unusual wheel choice. its great having something that you have grown up with. i grew up with my best mates mums bus, which she still has thankfully, although i almost bought it off her a few months back.. great memories, its nice to know someone else still has the thing that has been making memories for so long!
Wheels are Porsche 914/916 pedrinis. bolt straight onto a four stud bug. They are fully polished but tarnish so quickly
sunvisor is 70s I brought this back from Perth Australia as hand luggage. $50 when it was nearly 3 to the pound.
