As above, four steel wheels and two tyres. I ran these on my late bay last year. Only selling as i now have some zender wheels that i prefer. These are vw caddy 16" steels, 5x112 ET50. The caddy is a commercial vehicle so the load rating of the wheel is fine for the T2. 2x fronts have been prefessionally narrowed and are now 5" wide, this effectively makes them ET 38. This was done by a company called "banded steel wheels" in Tiverton. The centre bores are also opened up on the fronts so they clear the hub. Fronts are fitted with Michelin Energy Saver Plus 185/55 R16 87H XL tyres that have about 3k miles on them and are showing no signs of wear (they look brand new). These have a load rating of 87 XL which is up to 545kg per tyre. Max permissible load rating for the front axle of a westy is 1010kg so these exceed that requirement. Rears are stock 6x16 et50 with no modifications. Rears don't have tyres as i re-used these on my new setup. On my van i have adjustable spring plates and with the wide 205/60 rears i was running i needed 20mm spacers to clear the adjuster on the spring plate. If you are stock height or have lowered with cranked spring plates or re-indexing splines (or you run a narrower tyre) then you'll prob be fine without the spacers. I can include the spacers if necessary for a small additional cost Collection only from Oxford - price drop: £200. ready to camp by Rob E, on Flickr Summer 2015 by Rob E, on Flickr Steels by Rob E, on Flickr N.b. i have longer studs, you may need these on yours too to get these on.
I never got around to fitting hub caps to these, but i did specifically choose the design to suit the og hubcap. You'd need some clips like the splitty wheels use to secure the cap which i never got around to buying, but the cap would fit well with the shape of the wheel, here's a mockup: Wheel ideas.. by Rob E, on Flickr
The two tyres are fitted on the front wheels, they are Michelin Energy Saver + 185/55 R16 87H XL. No mods needed to the bodywork front or rear.
@skirk still available. i've had two guys interested but they're still sat in my garage. First one to hand over the cash get them.
can I ask what the centre bore of these wheels were and if they went straight onto the t2? cheers mate
@brucieboy these had 57mm centre bore so fitted fine at the rear but fronts needed opening up to 67mm to fit. Hth.
