ive only gone and bought another unfinished project! I can't believe it's been in a garage just a few miles from my house for years. It's rust free (nearly!) and on its way to the body shop soon after Christmas for new paint but it's missing some bits and pieces....and I know us camper types do have other vw'S so thought I'd try my luck! It's a 1979 LHD cabrio in Texas yellow.. I need the following please.. Dash All four wings Elephant foot rear lights Fuel injection air filter, afm, throttle body/phlenum, manifolds and injectors Front door cards in camel?/mid brown? Hood hinge covers I'm sure there will be other bits as the project gathers steam! Thanks for looking
Okey dokey! ive managed to get the car home (half of it in big cardboard boxes!!) and have bought some bits and bobs in the meantime too.. still looking for the following us spec rear RHS wing Fuel injection air filter, afm, throttle body/phlenum, manifolds and injectors Front door cards in camel?/mid brown? Hood hinge covers all seals for doors, windows bonnet eng lid and window scrapers etc will be at Dubfreeze this weekend too
Thanks for getting back to me but looking for an unmarked front pair really to match the good ones I have for the rear. Was hoping for a used pair as I thought they might match better as I'm guessing tmi ones will be a slightly different shade. The front ones I have have been hacked for speakers!
