12V xtron dvd/tv fitted , but picture looks yellow and flat

  1. Just fited an xtron 15" dvd player with an added freeview box. Have a remote for each.

I cannot get a good picture at all. It is flat, pale and yellow looking.

When you watch a DVD there are settings on that remote for Brightness, Contrast, sharpness etc.

and when you watch the TV, via freeview there are settings on that remote for Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, hue and one more.

Whatever I am watching, the picture always looks very pale and yellow looking.

Could the battery not being fully charged cause this, or does anyone know the miracle settings to sort this out?

    Does anyone have one?

    Any help appreciated

  2. Probably the xtron, sounds a bit Chinese to me...
    :)

  3. If its got a tinge of yellow then try changing the scart lead, (assume that's what's connecting it to the freeview), as it could be the lead.

  4. Think it is Japanese !!

Got good reviews, so thought I would give it a go.

Has AV cables to the freeview box, not scart. However even when watching a DVD the picture is poor, and the DVD is in the side of the main screen !!

If I can't sort out the yellowish picture, I will have to send it back.
