I've been using one from a Mercedes to inflate my Audi tyres for ages. The ones that they give people who don't have spare wheels. Sure a scrappy will have one
I have a quite old Halfords one - must be about 10 years old. Still works. But I found a Halfords foot compressor from 1985 - made in the UK with a brass barrel and cast foot pedal and 4mm steel used in the rest of the construction. So I renovated it and use that.
I don't expect my Halfords one to last long, you're not supposed to actually use them more than once.
I got a cheap one at a service station years ago. Still works fine. You set it going, make a cup of tea, read the paper and the tyres' nearly up to pressure by then.
I bought one from Costco a couple big years back, it's still working but the plastic lifting handle broke off last summer
I have one of these, https://www.screwfix.com/p/ring-heavy-duty-professional-air-compressor-12v/2183r use it for my job. has lasted 15 years and probably gets used 2 or 3 times a day
I just use a good quality styrup bike pump I've had for ages ... Wouldn't want to pump a tyre up from flat but great for topping up Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Do you ever use any of the liquid gunky stuff that comes with that air pump? I’ve not had to yet, but think I have a couple spare.
