  1. Hi all

Looking for a scrap or broken one of these to set up on a engine hoist / test rig if anyone has one going spare.

  2. I've got one going spare. Its off a 6 rib 091 late bay box i believe (or possibly a T25 gearbox) and uses the starter motor off a 1700/1800/2000 motor, so the starter will need to be type with the longer pinion like this:

I used it to test run my beetles engine with it just sat on the floor.

If you don't know of it already, https://www.parcel2go.com/ is the best place I've found for getting postage quotes.

  9. 091, as it's to mate with a CU 2lt.

Also, happy to pass it on for same cost once I'm done with it. It for mating with an engine stand, so only needed for some work and a test rig set up. Do the dibbers need a working version, or for same purpose, as I'll leave it intact if needed for fitting, as I was thinking of cutting starter viewing access in it.

  10. Yeh I’m after an 091 for the 228mm flywheel I’ve got a smaller type 1 engine one not sure if I can clearance it to work with a type 4 engine may look at that for now.

210/215mm type 4 flywheel/clutch should fit into a type 1 bellhousing, but a 228mm would need some/a lot of clearancing.

  12. I’m sorted now so can remove my second dibs and @Spacecowboyuk can move up the list :)
