  1. thinking of ditching the 009 set up and going back to svda
any recommendations? has anyone done this and had problems?
    its a 2.0 cj engine
accuspark svda with elctronic ignition £54 on ebay, any good?

  2. Ive orderd the powerspark vac advance dizzy with electronic ignition of ebay to replace the dodgy 009 on my bus

Ill let you know how i get on with it once its arrived and i fit it

  3. I was gonna ditch my 009 for my old vac dizzy, but found advancing it 5 degrees sorted all my flatspot woes, runs like a new van now, even pulls out of corners in third....it has never been able to do this..love it.

  4. I thinking of doing this too, but just not sure, I've been reading all the pro's and cons and I'm undecided, and if I did I would carry my old dizzy and a spare set of points and a condenser, you can buy a lot of points and condensers for the price of a distributor with electronic ignition, I've just serviced my bus and she's running sweet, about my bosch 009 dizzy, when I removed the securing clamp to adjust the timing I noticed there was a wee bit of play on the distributor, is this normal ?or should the dizzy fit snug with no play, and could this be an indication that it's on it's way out ?:(
