  1. I have just changed my distributor on my 2.0 type 4 motor from a 009 to a powerspark svda dizzy. I got it from [ftp=ftp://www.simonbbc.com/]http://www.simonbbc.com/[/ftp] i'm very pleased with it so far ;D , the engine ran uneven at lower revs with the 009 dizzy fitted, but now with the new powerspark dizzy fitted it revs nice and smooth

  3. Just got one for camper no. 2 (accuspark but probably the same thing) and been running one on camper no.1 for a little over a year and its been great

  4.
  5. I wondered why i got a free pair of walking shoes with it ;D

  6. Joking aside, i've never had any problems with lucas coils

  7. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

    No air filter?
And no connection to the cold start vacuum thingy which is plugged.
Wrong coil bracket (yours from a T1 engine)
    No cooling flaps!!!!
And a wire has come off one of the LH carb solenoid which might account for the rough running at low revs if you didn't put it back. :)

  8. Man you have eyes like a sh*thouse rat! LOL I have not long bought the vehicle so still working out whats what. I have noticed that the cooling flaps are missing! i realise this will affect short journey's as the engine won't get fully up to temperature, but should be fine on longer runs right? What is the cold start thingy and were does it go to? The wire that's off the left carb has nothing to connect up to! as there are already wires going to the solenoids.
