003 Pan gasket

    Anyone know where I could get one in the UK, Heritage used to do them but now have them listed as NLA

    No chance. USA only.

    I brought 3 used 2 got a spare.

    Makco transmissions I believe.

    I also got a spare filter.

    Only probs is $45 postage

    You could also try cobra transmission but again postage might be pricey

    My next door neighbour has offices in the US and I can get stuff posted there, he brings me back loads of stuff in his luggage!!

    I have never done the filter is it easy with the pan off??

    You can only do it with the pan off 1 screw, that’s all it takes.

    Just checked Cobra $4 each gaskets and filter, I will speak to the neighbour to see when he is going over if anyone else wants any.

    If it fits a sheet of A4 sized gasket paper that is about £3 on ebay for a collection of sheets in varying thicknesses.

    Oh and about 5 minutes of @davidoft 's time with a ball pein hammer tapping around the mating surface ... or about 2 hours with scissors and a Stanley knife...

    Use a hole cutter, like a punch but has a hole in the middle , like you use to put holes in your belt

    Cork.

    Do your diff pan whilst your at it (if it needs it) VHW sells good quality but expensive. Felt leather like.
