I have lived in two beautifully located homes. Both very manageable. One on the banks of the river severn and smack in the heart of rural Worcestershire. The other in the New Forest and a mile from the sea. I had my camper to get away from them though.
i know...... luckily i have 3.5 years until i'm 50, i promised myself a 68 before/on 50th mine will be paid for before then so take your time as i can't afford one until i sell/pay for mine - and the longer i have mine the harder it is to sell.
I'm getting the vibe recently that you'll be back in a caravan with a landrover towing it before then, if not a coach built camper with a shower and a toilet etc.
new place will not allow such storage, drive isn't able to accomodate, probably get a tintop to tatt with and single night camp like techenders and go back to normal holidays in statics, won't have a caravan again but would like a big motorhome yes, depends if i could store it somewhere.
So am I. The man's got the bay days out of his system. It's what happens with your first. Lasted longer than most though. Fair play. He will get another like we all did.
I've had at least one since I got the first. I just love them, though I have no idea why really. I don't like any other type of car, caravan, motorhome. It would be odd not to have one and if ever I think of running just one vehicle the camper stays, but that never happens because I can't afford to run the camper as a daily driver. It's cheaper having a car as well as a camper than just a camper, which is a bit crazy.
if i could afford to run the camper as a daily i would, that's why i'm toying with a tintop and diesel/scooby it - i wish mine wasn't an auto sometimes
Went in @poptop2 LT today - it's IMMENSE inside. I proper like it - looks really well made too, and rare. Let's some dodgy sorts in there though, will have to be careful with that I think......
I looked out for you today Malc I think I saw the LT parked up on the corner Did you have a box of draught pieces in the window Did you see the other LT over the other side ?
It's easily one of the best layouts I've seen in one, the modern Fiat based ones don't have that airy feel - it's lasted really well if all the furnishings are original too - no way the modern stuff would last like that.
I'm glad you said that - I thought me and Mrs Roo (the better half of @rickyrooo1 ) were hallucinating - I assumed it was caused by the millions of LED light strips and tie die tat from the show.
It's as he made it apart from the curtains and dining area upholstery. He was quite amazed by it and it is in better Nick than his own.
