Wasn't it @Lord Charles who was once pictured on here wearing them with socks? Oh the shame of it :weak:
i have 3 pairs excellent for camping, easy on/off, washable and dry in minutes, great for damp grass or wearing to shower while camping, i use them instead of slippers around the house, my slippers used to pong real bad but crocs are quite hygenic - rubber doesn't hold the smell or germs i guess?
I have 3 pairs too, love them, as above and very comfortable, even wear then in the office on a daily basis (one pair at a time)
Look awful but very practical and comfortable, that said I don't have any, I just have 6 pairs of flip flops. (Thongs, Don)
I always said I would never have a pair, but got a pair must be 4 years ago and couldn't live without em, I too wear em as slippers and with socks. But not at the beach that would look silly.....I could tell my Crocs a mile off as I melted the sole standing on a soldering iron....bombproof.
Only women and children. Any grown man caught wearing them should have their feet amputated so as to avoid any further crimes against humanity.
I can translate & I even remember to call the Jandals when talking to our Kiwi bretheren I'm multilingual
Not as bomb proof as you may think, one TE Mrs TW was sat sitting by a bbq when we got a melting plastic smell instead of steak cooking. She had put her feet under the bbq to warm her feet and the crocs couldn't take it.
I didn't like them at first but bought a pair for practical reasons (had an op and couldn't bend down to tie laces etc for a while) - they're really comfortable! Good for camping (though I don't like getting soggy feet in the morning)
I was swept along by their popularity, although I feel they are v ugly they are apparently v comfy, so I purchased some for the beach. The result was a rather nasty rash on my feet - I've not worn them since. They were not kosher crocs tho, just cheap copies from the Chinese shop on the playa so that may have made a difference Espadrilles for me any day of the week.
I love em, got 2 pairs, but only worn in the strap forward position, never behind the ankle. They're crap on wet cellar steps though, as I found out when I nearly ended up in traction
Confession time. I not only have a pair of crocs, I also have some crocs wellies: Mine are red. Mrs BB has pink crocs wellies, like the ones in the picture.
if you amputate my feet i could possibly get in a child size and that is good as they are a pound cheaper.
i thought the strap did go forward, sort of like a gladiators guard, i too never wear them rearwards - for that would be silly.
