I own a pair of yellow Crocs and I LOVE them. Like sanitary towels, I feel fully confident when walking into a campsite shower that I'll be free from foot infections and unwanted attention by strange men standing in the toilet cubicles with the holes in the side.

 

Look closely, they each wear the strap differently - there's the answer to your dilemma: wear them like Jack, not like Dubya.
