I'd never need anything like that, Ms.T knows what I buy ....................................................................................... eventually.
Don't forget the lower classes are allowed to play football! 22 players, 2 linesmen and a ref all charging around a field. Presumably the foul language keeps the virus at bay!
all part of the debate, one of the village playing fields is opposite where we live and the language on a weekend morning coming from the game can be rather bad, sort of reminds me of my days working in shipyards in the 70s and 80s. As you say village football of all ages has started up with no restriction on numbers. On the other hand my son goes to Scouts and they are not allowing more than 15 to meet at any time and it has to be outside. Perhaps footballers with their fine physiques are less likely to come down with the virus.
Don't know about village stuff but it's costing loads to test players every week. That's why lower leagues are struggling without the crowds to pay for it.
I ran the line for my son's game in one of the Bucks Youth leagues on Sunday. Supposed to have a rope barrier up the touchline to keep players, coaches and parents away from the line. Nothing. So ended up passing within inches of the opposition subs, coaches etc, none of whome were wearing masks on the touchline.
